Stay Inspired Knowledge Is Power LLC is founded by Miriam D. Rivera. The mission of my company is to promote mental health, share ways to break the stigma, and provide students and families with mental health and substance use resources. As well as to inspire and uplift people through art, fashion, design, inspirational quotes, and motivational videos.
A portion of all proceeds sold by this company will go into the William Rivera Memorial Scholarship Fund to help high school and college students pay for college tuition and/or educational expenses. In order to qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must have a parent diagnosed with mental illness or substance use disorder.
How Addiction Happens
A great video to watch with your teens or adults. This video gives a great perspective on how addiction happens, how to prevent addiction, and a deep understanding that getting help is a HUGE strength NOT a weakness!!
There are some amazing mental health and substance use professionals out there willing to help and be supportive but do not know how to help you if you have not identified you need help, or willing to seek help. There is HOPE!! There is a resource tab to help you identify if you need help and a list of professionals. <3
